National CORE transformed a dilapidated and neglected complex
into a safe, clean, and beautiful community that low
and moderate-income families can proudly call "home."
The city of Yorba Linda is located
in, Orange County, one of Southern California's most
expensive housing markets. High rents charged by most
market rate apartment communities created challenges
for low and moderate-income families. A partnership
between the City of Yorba Linda Redevelopment Agency
and National CORE was the driving force behind creating
high quality affordable housing and helping turn around
a neighborhood plagued by crime.
Arbor Villas was named
"Most Improved Property of the Year"
by the Apartment Association of Orange County.
