National Community Renaissance has recently worked with Related Companies on a massive revitalization project in Anaheim. Currently, 293 units have been acquired and are currently being managed by National CORE. The goal is to acquire more than 750 units that comprise the Hermosa Village neighborhood, five city blocks located in the shadow of the Disneyland Hotel.

All the units are currently one-bedroom apartments. The rehabilitation included converting many of these apartments to large-family units, a mix of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedrooms.

Building a large community room was part of the rehabilitation plan. Some of the programs coordinated by National CORE and the City of Anaheim included: English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, GED classes, computer training, job education, year-round lunch program, after-school tutoring, Disney Goals (Ducks teach hockey to youth), and youth leadership development.
