AFTER SCHOOL SITE STAFF

•  We currently have immediate openings for talented After School Site Staff to join our team!

The After School Staff will facilitate recreation, education, and/or enrichment at a Hope Through Housing program site. The position reports to the Site Coordinator.

Description of Duties
To design, plan, and facilitate activities with groups of 20 children.
To advise the Site Coordinator as to what supplies, materials, and other forms of support are needed for activities.
To implement Hope Through Housings best practices after school model.
To supervise all program participants to ensure a safe and organized program.
To assist with the planning and facilitation of special projects and events.
To attend staff development trainings and workshops.
To perform other duties as assigned.


Professional Qualifications
Desire to work with children and youth.
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with Hope Through Housing staff, parents, and community.
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with Hope Through Housing and National CORE staff, public officials, private sector officials, parents, and community leaders.
Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate sensitivity to others.
Excellent organizational skills.

Other Requirements
Ability to speak and write a language other than English is preferred.
Ability to work 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Willing to work evenings and Saturdays as required.
Willing to travel to off-site meetings, trainings, and events.
Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to pass TB skin test and background check.
