JOB DESCRIPTION
Human Resources Recruiter/Coordinator
The Human Resources Recruiter/Coordinator will report to the Human Resources Manager and Vice President of Human Resources and Operations. This person is responsible for the recruiting of exempt and non-exempt level employees and Human Resources support and coordination. This person must be an extremely confidential individual with experience in Microsoft Windows and Office software.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Function as the main recruiting point of contact for all positions.
Manage full cycle recruitment process in a fast-paced environment: including developing job descriptions, posting ads, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, interviewing, extending offers, background screening procedures, scheduling pre employment drug and physical, personnel file set up, and facilitating New Hire Orientation.
Develop and execute appropriate sourcing strategies with creative sourcing techniques. This can include warm calls and/or cold calls to generate interest in our positions.
Partner with all levels of management to make successful hiring decisions.
HRIS systems maintenance.
Heavy networking with various contacts.
Maintenance of confidential Employee Files.
Assist the Human Resources department with correspondence and reports as needed.
Must be a self- starter who is extremely organized.
Assisting with the planning and coordination of employee events.
Ordering and tracking of employee incentives.
Other Duties
- Relieve the Receptionist for breaks and lunches.
- Attend company sponsored events that relate to the development of the team.
EXPERIENCE The Human Resource Recruiter/Coordinator should have the following minimal skills:
- 2-3 years experience as a Human Resources Recruiter/Coordinator in a staffing or high volume environment.
- Intermediate knowledge of Windows XP.
- Comprehend and follow instructions.
- Effective communication skills.
- Work harmoniously with staff.
- Perform simple and repetitive tasks.
- Maintain work pace appropriate to given work load.
- Above average organizational skills
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish - a plus
